Correction Procedures
Students who commit major infractions will be asked to reflect in writing what they did that was inappropriate and how they could have made a better choice. Their parents will be contacted about the infraction. After a review of the child's written reflection I will make a decision on whether a office referral needs to be written up and turned into school administration. If a referral is deemed necessary administration will then determine the corrective actions which could include: parent conference, loss of privileges, suspension, and/or counselor referral. Students will use the behavior report to reflect.

This is a tool used to help the children reflect on their own behavior and take ownership of how to correct that behavior in the future.
